N0903P61001CBRYAN – On December 28, the Stryker Lady Panthers again faced Bryan in the title game of the annual Lady Bear Holiday Classic. Fresh off her game-high performance of the night prior, Conner Varner of the Lady Panthers proved that she has no performance limits as she lit up Bryan for a game-high 15 on this night. Unfortunately for Varner, the support she had enjoyed in the opening round was nowhere to be found against Bryan, who handed the Lady Panthers a 50-39 decision for the trophy.

Varner and Hannah Doehrmann helped stake the Lady Panthers to an early 12-10 lead, but the offense went south from there, allowing the hosts to run away with the game.

Doehrmann finished with 10 points, with Connor Sullivan getting 8, Christie Huston 4 and Maddie Uribes 2 points.

SCORING BY QUARTER:

Bryan  10  11  9  20 – 50
Stryker  12  7  7  11 – 39
