Bryan Fire Department Unveils $1 Million Rescue Engine

NEW FIRE TRUCK … The Bryan Fire Department recently received a new $1 million fire and rescue engine (above). It will replace a 1983 Pierce engine and a 1986 GMC rescue vehicle which was sold last summer. Fire Chief Doug Pool said the city saved $550,000 with the trade-in of the old vehicle with an expected lifespan of 40 years.
