Bryan High School Celebrates 2024 Homecoming

Bryan City Schools celebrated this year’s Homecoming on Friday, September 20th. The celebration kicked off with the introduction of this year’s Homecoming Court right before the game that was scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

The Freshman Attendant was Brianna Winzeler with Park Muehlfeld as her escort. Brianna is the daughter of Rachel and Chris Wineler and is involved in soccer, basketball, and track. She likes helping with various activities at her church, baking, spending time with family and friends, traveling, fishing, and shopping.

Parker is the son of Ryan and Tasha Muehlfeld. He is involved in football, wrestling, and track. Outside of school, Parker works on the farm and has pigs in 4H. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, farming, and hanging out with friends.

The Sophomore Attendant was Emma Schlade with escort Camden Bukowski. Emma is the daughter of Joshua and Carrie Schlade and is involved in theater, tennis and her church. In her free time, she enjoys playing the guitar and piano, singing, reading, writing music, and hanging out with friends.

Camden is the son of Tiffany and Rob Bukowski. He participates in baseball and is very involved in his church. In his free time, he enjoys taking naps, hanging out with friends, and fishing.

The Junior Attendant was Grace Slagle with escort Tucker Miller. Grace is the daughter of Daniel and Lynsey Slagle. She participates in dance and performs ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, modern, hip-hop, and pointe. She also teaches ballet to 4th and 5th graders and is on the worship team at New Hope Community Church.

Tucker is the son of Ryan and Amy Miller. He participates in soccer, basketball, baseball, and is involved in his youth group at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church.

The Senior Attendant was Kaitlyn Dempsey with escort Gavin Jaessing. Kaitlyn is the daughter of Tenisha Kerr and Joe Dempsey. She is involved in volleyball and is a member of the National Honors Society.

After school, she plans to attend college and major in diagnostic medical sonography to later become an ultrasound technician. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, being outside, hanging out with friends, and spending time with her pets.

Gavin is the son of Tamara Lions. He participates in basketball and Bible study, and also helps at the youth basketball camp. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his family and friends.

Following the introduction of all the attendants and their escorts, it was time to introduce the 2024 Bryan High School Homecoming Queen and her escort. The Homecoming Queen for this year was Macy Burton with escort Dominic Malanga. Macy is the daughter of Mary Beth and Mike Burton.

Macy is involved in varsity soccer, varsity track, the National Honors Society, Interact Club, and yearbook class. She currently works at Artisan and is involved in the Lick Creek Church of the Brethren. Outside of school she enjoys spending time with friends and family, hanging out at the lake, and growing plants in her garden.

Dominic is the son of Chris and Nikki Malanga. He participates in soccer and is part of the National Honors Society, Interact, FCA, and an internship. Dominic is also the Senior Class President and is involved his church’s youth group.

He is also a lector at his church and is a youth rec soccer coach. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, playing frisbee golf and pickleball, and spending time with his friends.


Bryan High School celebrated their 2024 Homecoming with attendants from each grade and the crowning of Homecoming Queen Macy Burton on September 20th.
