Bryan Middle School To Remain Closed Until Further Notice

Students and staff were evacuated to the Bryan Field House and the Bryan First Brethren Church. Parents were asked to sign their child out as they came to take them home. The Police and Sheriff's Departments were wonderful in directing traffic and telling parents which building their child was in.

Today at approximately 12:40 PM. Bryan Middle School was evacuated due to a bomb threat found in the building. Students and staff were evacuated to the family reunification sites. Both the Bryan Police Department and the Bryan Fire Department were on the scene assisting personnel. All students and staff are safe and accounted for. Bomb sniffing dogs are en route from BG & Allen County to assist. The building will remain closed until it can be determined that no further threat exists.
