Ruth Irene Kowalski, age 84, of Wauseon, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice.
Ruth was born in on March 17, 1931, the daughter of Oliver and Emma (Khun) Poorman. On June 27, 1956 she married Stanley Kowalski, and he preceded her in death in 2003.
Surviving is one son, Clifford Battig of Wauseon, one daughter, Sue Thompson of Fremont, Indiana, and one grandson, Steven Thompson of Fremont, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley, and both parents.
Services are pending and will be at a later date. Interment will be in the Winameg Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com. Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon has been entrusted with arrangements.
