EXPANSION … The guest speaker at the Bryan Kiwanis Meeting of January 14, 2026, was Rod Saunders, the owner of The Bryan Movie Theater on the Square. Mr. Saunders bought the theater in 2018. He spoke with the group about the renovations that have been performed on the theater, particularly the marquee and the seating in the theater itself. He also shared with us that he has acquired the property immediately next door to the theater and has plans to open an arcade and a sports bar in that space. He also has plans to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary and Ohio Goes to the Movies with special shows.
