CAPTURED – Fleeing Subject In Williams County Considered Armed & Dangerous

UPDATE – “The Village Reporter” has confirmed with the Williams County Sheriff’s Department that Josh Yates was captured hiding in a closet at 121 South Lebanon Street in Bryan, Ohio this afternoon around 3:44 p.m.  Yates has active felony warrants of the City of Bryan and Defiance County.

At 10:59 p.m. on Monday, January 22, 2018, Josh Yates was involved in a pursuit with the Defiance Co Sheriff’s Office that ended in a field. The suspect fled on foot in the area of CR-8.50 and CR-H in Williams County. The female passenger involved was apprehended and advised Yates was armed with a handgun. A search of the area was unable to locate him.

Josh Yates has active warrants through DCSO and BPD. His criminal history reveals arrests for such things as: Burglary, RSP, Possession of Drugs, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle among others.
