Charles Wyse (1950 – 2018)

Charles L. “Chuck” Wyse, 67 years, of Wauseon, passed away early Tuesday morning, April 17, 2018 in his residence, with his family at his side.  Chuck was born June 26, 1950 in Bryan, Ohio, the son of Galen and Margaret (Stark) Wyse.  He was a 1969 graduate of West Unity High School.  Chuck married Laronda Knecht on June 8, 1974 in Stryker, Ohio and she survives.  Chuck was a farmer and owner of Wyse Repair Service for the past 31 years. In his free time, he enjoyed traveling and visiting with friends and family. Chuck especially cherished his time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving is his wife, Laronda of Wauseon; three children, Amy (Troy) Douglas of Whitehouse Dave Wyse of Archbold, and Tony Wyse of Archbold; seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; mother, Margaret Wyse of West Unity; three brothers, Dave Wyse of Ida, Michigan, Virgil (Joan) Wyse of Bryan, and Norm Wyse of West Unity. Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Galen Wyse.

Visitation for Charles L. “Chuck” Wyse will be held Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 5:00-8:00 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 202 North Liberty Street, West Unity.  Funeral services for Chuck will be held Friday, April 20, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Mike Morgan officiating.  Interment will follow in Floral Grove Cemetery, West Unity. Military Graveside Rites will be conducted by West Unity American Legion Post 669.

Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions be made to the Community Health Professionals Hospice. Condolences may be sent to the family or the online guest book may be signed at www.oberlinturnbull.com
