Crews Respond To Overnight House Fire In Fayette

On February 8th, 2021 at 10:33 p.m. the Gorham-Fayette Fire Department was dispatched to 202 College Street in Fayette for a structure fire.

Upon arrival ,the crews noticed flames from the residence and a fire attack was conducted. The fire was extinguished by crews on scene. All occupants exited the structure safely.

Fayette was assisted on scene by fire crews from Archbold, Alvordton, Morenci, Wauseon, Waldron, and Lyons along with the Fayette Police Department, and the Village of Fayette Public Works. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
