Darla A. Kutzli

Darla-A-Kutzli-WEBDarla A. (Batdorf) Kutzli, age 76, of Wauseon, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Henry County Hospital. Prior to her retirement she had over 30 years of service with Sheridan Manufacturing in Wauseon.

Darla was born in Wauseon, Ohio on February 19, 1939, the daughter of Lowell Batdorf and Estella May (King) Cole. She was a member of Hope Christian Fellowship in Wauseon. She enjoyed writing poetry, reading, doing crossword puzzles, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her children, Tamara (Robert) Franz, Todd Tussinger, Sr., Beth (Robert) DeLeon, Glenda (Steven) Kampton, Douglas (Elena) Kutzli, and Jodi Kutzli. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Andrew (Rosemary) Franz, Todd (Krystal) Tussinger, Jr., Brandon Wentzel, Tim Tussinger, Megan Tussinger, Trishia Toczynski, Christopher Myers, MaTea DeLeon, Hailey Kampton, Skylar Kampton, Jordan Stickley, Noah Stickley, Austin Kutzli, Tanner Ely; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Margaret Emmons, and brother, Robert Batdorf.

Visitation for Darla will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Monday, September 21, 2015 at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, at Hope Christian Fellowship, with Pastor Donna Stutzman, officiating Interment will follow in the Zion Cemetery, rural Wauseon.


The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Wauseon Fire Department, the Lyons Fire Department, or the Fulton County Special Olympics. Online condolences may be offered to the family atwww.grisierfh.com.
