On February 6,2020, Defiance County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation of a child sexual abuse complaint. The investigation by deputies resulted in the arrest of William Shock, age 67 years, of 21549 Bowman Road, Defiance, Ohio.
Shock was arrested on one count of Gross Sexual Imposition, a Felony of the Third degree, and was transported to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio. Shock appeared in Defiance Municipal Court on February 7th.
The case alleges that William Shock had sexual contact with minor child under 12 years of age. The case file has been forwarded to the Defiance County Prosecutor’s Office for further review and presentation to a Defiance County Grand Jury.
Assisting in the case was Defiance County Job and Family Services Children’s Service Division.
