Delta FFA Competes In Farm Business Management CDE

On March 2nd the Pike-Delta-York FFA Chapter participated in the Ohio Farm Business Management Exam CDE. This CDE is to provide students with the opportunity to make a practical application of the knowledge and skills learned in the production agriculture curriculum in solving typical farm management problems.

This CDE should stimulate the farm management instructional program and as a result, help students to become more effective farm managers. Participants include Anthony Pelton, Luke Snyder, Lexi Brown, and Jayce Helminiak.

In the state the Delta team placed 29th out of 82 teams. State placings were Anthony Pelton 19th, Luke Snyder 66th, LexiAnn Brown 417th, and Jayce Helminiak 605th. There were 733 individuals testing on the state level.


In District 1 the team placed 5th out of 10 teams. Anthony Pelton led the team in Districts by placing 3rd, Luke Snyder placed 7th, LexiAnn Brown placed 59th, and Jayce Helminiak placed 88th. There were 117 individuals taking the test in District 1.
