THREE’S NOT A CROWD … The Delta Village Council was unable to hold their regularly scheduled meeting on the evening of Monday, June 1, due to three of the six council members being absent. A lack of quorum meant the attending members were unable to convene. Mayor Allen Naiber said the three absent members — council members Rachel Adams, Chad Johnson, and Kyle Riley — all had legitimate reasons for their absence, with one of them out of the country. The business scheduled for the meeting will be taken up at their next meeting, to be held at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, June 15 at 401 Main Street in Delta.
