DEFIANCE – Diego Tavares and Jaren Honsberger each collected two hits and Mason Noirot tossed 4 2/3 innings of relief to earn the win as the Bulldogs advanced to the district semifinals by beating Wauseon 8-3.
Thad Reckner and Maddox Schneider paced Wauseon with two hits each and Camden Sherman took the loss on the hill.
