Downtown Restaurant in Archbold has announced it will close its doors later this month, bringing an end to a local establishment that has served as a gathering place for meals, celebrations, live music and community events.
The restaurant announced the decision on its Facebook page, stating its final day of operation will be August 29.
“After much thought, we have made the difficult decision to close the doors of Downtown Restaurant on August 29,” the business stated.
In announcing the closure, the restaurant thanked customers for their years of support and reflected on the many events and memories created there, including karaoke, live music, celebrations and other gatherings.
“We’ve been honored to host amazing live music, unforgettable events, countless celebrations, and so many moments that we’ll cherish forever,” the restaurant stated.
The owners are encouraging customers to visit one more time before the August 29 closing date to enjoy a favorite meal and share memories.
“Thank you for your support, your loyalty, and for allowing us to be part of your lives,” the announcement stated. “We will never forget you.”
