Earl L. Bonner, age 78, of Delta, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee. Prior to his retirement he had been a die setter and union representative for Inshield Die & Stamping in Toledo.
Earl was born November 4, 1942 in Palmer, Tennessee to Marcus and Geneva (Slaughter) Bonner. He loved all things outdoors, especially camping, fishing and shooting. He was a proponent of the Second Amendment.
He loved when his grandkids and great-grandkids would visit. He wanted everyone to feel welcome in his home and no one ever left with an empty belly. He was dearly loved and will be sadly missed. Earl love his dog, Dolly and his parakeet, Pretty Boy!
Surviving are his children; Kimberly (Buck) Lockhart, Laurie Ciepiela, Kevin (Phyllis) Bonner and Stacy Arend; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Shiloh) Ciepiela, Kayleigh (Joshua) Ciepiela, Tyler (Ashley) Bartosiak, Courtney (Joshua) Peterson, Dannielle (Kevin) Tucker, Kelsie (Michael) Arend, Kodee Arend, and Maddalynn West. Also surviving are 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by son-in-law, Mark Ciepiela; both parents; and siblings, James Lee Bonner and Lavena Campbell.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, there will be no services. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the benevolence of the family.
