The agenda for the evening was approved as presents, as were the minutes from the September regular meeting.

The treasurer’s recommendations were approved as presented, as were the superintendent’s -which included inter-agency agreements and provisional changes to board policies to comply with HB33.

Personnel recommendations were approved as presented, which included a 2-year contract with Crystal Miller as an assistant technology / testing coordinator.

Superintendent Riehle shared that Parent / Teacher Conferences will take place on October 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., with no school for students during that day.

The Veterans’ Day assembly will take place at 9 a.m. on November 10, with Col. Kevin Bigenho as the guest speaker.

There will be a 2-hour delay for students to allow for staff professional development on December 6, 2023 for ACT prep, and two flag donations were approved: a POW flag from Bob Witsaman, and an anonymously donated American flag.

The boys’ basketball game on January 6, 2024, versus Eastside at 324 North Michigan Avenue, will feature a “throwback theme,” and everyone is encouraged to come check it out.

Grants were awarded for the HVAC system and the I-Robot for the football field and painting.

The Edgerton Board of Education then adjourned, set to meet next at 6 p.m. on November 20, 2023.
