The Edgerton Board of Education approved several personnel items at its regular meeting on Monday, July 20.
Samantha Etoll was awarded a one-year contract for the 2026-27 school year as a 5/8-time intervention specialist for grades 7-12, pending completion of necessary pre-employment requirements.
The board approved the voluntary reduction of hours for David Shufelt beginning with the 2026-2027 school year from 3 hours to 1.5 hours.
Lauren Adkins was approved as a bus aide for the 2026-2027 school year on an as-needed basis. Luke Braman was approved as the boys’ golf coach for the 2026-2027 school year.
In other board action:
-Approved a five-year lease and service agreement with Perry ProTech for district copy machines.
-Approved service agreements with NWOESC for services at St. Mary’s Catholic School for the 2026-2027 school year.
-Approved a service agreement with NWOESC for Roots Analysis Services, effective July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.
-Approved the 2026-2027 transportation agreement with Edon-Northwest Local Schools to transport Edgerton’s Four County Career Center students.
-Approved the annual purchase of staff appreciation gifts and meals during the school year.
-Approved the 2026-2027 supplemental contracts and volunteers, pending completion of pre-employment/volunteer coaching requirements.
The board held a public hearing for the retire/rehire of Neil Haughn as bus driver. With no public comment offered, the matter will be up for final approval at the August meeting.
