Edgerton FFA Marks 88th Annual Recognition Banquet

The 88th annual Edgerton FFA recognition banquet was held on Sunday, April 26 at the Edgerton Performing Arts Annex.

The event recognized those FFA members for their outstanding achievement throughout the 2025-26 school year.

Also honored were Jason Fry and Brian Hammon, who both received the Edgerton FFA Honorary Chapter Member Award.

Recognition of FFA Degrees
Discovery Degrees: Blaine Farnham, Blaine Hesselschwardt, Abigail Krill, Tate Nester and Brooklynn Watts.

Greenhand Degrees: Lily Adams, Caylee Anders, Ajay Batt, Lennon Christlieb, Layla Gale, Colton Hess, Addyson King, Ayden King, Baleigh Nickels, Bristin Patrick, Elivea Reinhart, Miranda Ricarte, Logen Robbins, Kaylyn Steffes, Christian Stickan, Madalynne Vonalt, Hayden Wehri, Madison Wilhelm and Breck Hesselschwardt.

Chapter Degrees: Caylee Anders, Karalyn Balzer, Kaylynn Decker, Sam Dockery, Breck Hesselschwardt, Addilyn Hughart, Tanner Kimpel, Nathan Krill, Austynn Landis, Bowen Reed, Brayden Stark, Ava Stutzman and Addi Snyder.

State Degrees: Abigail Fry, Ana Gineman, Avrie Herman and Alyssa Landis.

American Degrees: Adyn Herman, Grace Herman and Gretchen Keppeler.

Special Awards/Class Awards
Agricultural Food and Natural Resources: Madison Wilhelm and Lily Adams.

Plant and Animal Science: Nathan Krill.

Livestock Evaluation: Riley Rivera.

Food Science: Alyssa Landis.

School to Work: Ross Dockery and Tucker Curl.

Star Greenhand: Kaylyn Steffes and Madison Wilhelm.

Handyman

Star Chapter: Sam Dockery.

Star Third Year: Avrie Herman.

Star Fourth Year: Alyssa Landis.

Receiving the Proficiency Awards were Ross Dockery (Sheep Production) and Ava Herman (Dairy Production).

The banquet concluded with the induction of the 2026-27 Edgerton FFA Chapter Officers including Avrie Herman (President), Abigail Fry (Vice President), Austynn Landis and Karalyn Balzer (Secretary), Addyson Appel (Treasurer), Madison Wilhelm (Reporter), Kaylyn Steffes (Sentinel), Addilyn Hughart (Student Advisor), Kaylynn Decker (Chaplain) and Lily Adams (Historian).
