Fiscal Officer Denise Knetch shared that October is balanced and closed out, with the village fiscally operating in the month of November as of 4 p.m. that afternoon, and budget work is in process. The bills were approved as presented before council moved on to legislation.

A motion was then made approving a contract for electrical services by participating in the AMP Circuit Rider Program for 2024.
Ordinance No. 1127 was given its second reading, and two MOUs with ODOT were given their annual approval for snow and ice control.
Councilor Wallace shared that leaf pickup has been great so far this season, and Councilor Bowsher wanted to remind everyone to “get out there and vote,” as there are a lot of things that affect everyone locally on the ballot. It was also advised that residents can utilize early voting.
Councilor VanAusdale shared that the January 6 Edgerton basketball game is looking fun, with Administrator Fitzcharles sharing what still needs to be done.
Councilor Jason Gruver then made a motion to enter into executive session at 5:55 p.m., with council set to meet next on November 15, 2023 at 5:30 p.m.
