Edgerton’s 150th Celebration (Schedule Of Events)

The Village of Edgerton’s 150th Celebration is underway – events schedules are listed below.

Wednesday July 22nd

  • 6:30 Illuminate Worship Service/Concert with 4 Heaven Sakes at the bandstand

 

Thursday July 23rd

  • 5:30 Children’s Parade- Starting at the Library and ending at the Fire Hall
  • Opening at Bandstand After the Parade
  • Citizen of the Year
  • Presentation of Edgerton Pageant Queens and Contestants
  • Mini Cheerleaders
  • Alan Siebert (The Music Man)
  • Chair-istic silent auction (to continue through Saturday)
  • Children’s games and vendors – 50/50 tickets

 

Friday July 24th


  • Historical rooms are open from 2:00-6:00. Tours start at 4:00
  • Cornhole Tournament at Village Park @ 6:00 (pre-register @ 5:30)
  • 5k Run and Walk at 6:30 (Miller Park)
  • Vintage area- photo op, children’s games, grandpa golf, etc.
  • Children’s games
  • Chair-istic silent auction
  • Hotdog eating contest at bandstand @ 7:30
  • Live music – Dan Mihuc behind Huntington Bank @ 8:00 (bring your own lawn chairs)
  • Vendors and food for all – 50/50

 

Saturday July 25th

  • Parade at 11:00
  • Lemon Stand Contest during the Parade (winner goes to the people’s choice on stand only)
  • Birthday Cake on Bandstand after the Parade- will be giving away a T.V.
  • Water Ball after Parade
  • Methodist men will be selling chicken halves after the parade for Mission Projects. $5.00 per half 12:00-1:00 p.m. in front of Methodist Church. Please buy presale-limited amount!!
  • Chalk Fest on the corner of 49 and 6 @12:00
  • Texas Holdem’ at Fire Hall @ 12:00
  • 1st Annual James L. Newman Memorial Softball tournament at Miller Park
  • Chair-istic silent auction
  • Auction ends
  • Mustache and Beard judging contest at the bandstand
  • Historical rooms are open from 1:00-5:00. Tours start at 1:00 and 3:00 if enough interest
  • Vintage area- Sauder Village presenters, children games, laundry day and photo op.
  • 50/50 tickets
  • Children’s games
  • Vendors and food
  • Truck Pulls @5:00 with vendors starting at 3:00

 

Sunday July 26th AT MILLER PARK

  • 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament starting at 12:00
  • Car Show @ LCRF from 10-2:00
  • Vintage Baseball Game at 2:30 at Parkview Nursing Home
  • St. Mary’s Catholic Church is celebrating 150 years
  • Edgerton Knights of Columbus from 3:00-5:00.
  • Hamburgers, hotdogs and ice cream will be served.
  • Kids games will be available for family fun
  • Waterslide
  • Ping Pong Drop at Miller Park inside ball diamond @5:00
  • Miller Park building – Tano’s Pizza will be available, Silent Auction-tickets will be available for sale, and glow items will be for sale for the fireworks.
  • 50/50 tickets
  • Acoustic Rain will be playing under the Miller Park pavilion until Fireworks (please bring your own lawn chairs)
  • Fireworks at dusk (please bring your own lawn chairs)
