St. Mary School in Edgerton is pleased to announce that Mrs. Earlee Harris will be the teacher for their new Preschool Class, opening this fall. Mrs. Harris has been teaching music for the past two years at St. Mary School and at Holy Cross Catholic School. She has also been leading a preschool playgroup at St. Mary’s. Before that, she spent three years directing a preschool co-op at St. Michael’s in Hicksville. She is married to Dustin Harris and has three children, aged 3, 7, and 8.

St. Mary School is excited to begin to offer a Preschool program which will provide an environment which will allow the child to develop spiritually, socially, intellectually, physically and emotionally. Their preschool classroom will be a stimulating “play” environment rich in hands-on opportunities that will help prepare each child for a lifetime of learning.

The Preschool program, like all of the classes at St. Mary Catholic School, will be deeply rooted in the great commandments that Jesus, the Perfect Teacher, has given us: Love of God and Love of Neighbor. This philosophy will be incorporated into the preschool curriculum as we teach love of family, friends, ourselves, and all living things.

St. Mary’s Preschool will offer half-day sessions three days a week. Children must be at least 4 years old by August 1. Parents are encouraged to call St. Mary School at 419-298-2531 for enrollment information.
