EDON: April 29 – The Lady Archers of Antwerp and The Lady Eagles of Fayette converged upon Edon on the evening of April 29 to take on the Lady Bombers at Leanne Field.

Fayette, with enough participants to enter seven of the 17 events, placed third with 23 points, leaving the battle for first place to the Archers and their hosts.

And what a battle it turned out to be.

The Lady Bombers captured the lead with the throwing events, holding the lead over Antwerp until the fifteenth event…the 200. With a win in the 200, the Lady Archers pulled into a 65-65 tie with Edon, leaving two events to decide a winner. Edon decided the match in the next event, the 3200, with a win and eight points. Antwerp took the 4 x 400 with Edon in second, splitting the points 5-3 and giving the Lady Bombers a hard fought 76-73 first place win.

Individual stats for this event were illegible.
