STRYKER: April 29 – The Pettisville Blackbirds and the Hilltop Cadets took their shows on the road to Stryker to take on the Panthers in an April 29 BBC tri-meet.

With the Battling ‘Birds the only school to take the field with a full team, there was little doubt to the outcome against the overmatched Panther Pack and Cadet Cadre. Pettisville came away the overwhelming winner with an 82 point haul, while the Panthers finished in second with 33 points, and the Cadets finished third with 25. Over one half of the Hilltop points came from senior Brady Livensparger, who placed first in the 3200 and the 800, and second in the 1600.

Pettisville won 10 of the 17 events at the meet, the most significant being the high jump where the sole participant in the event, Austin Dykstra, set the school record with a leap of 6’ 4″.
