EDON – The Lady Bombers of Edon hosted the Loco Ladies of Montpelier on December 11. Montpelier dominated early, going into halftime with an 18-10 lead, but Edon battled back, outscoring the Locos in the third and fourth quarters to force overtime. Edon’s momentum, however, ran out in the overtime period as they scored only 2 points to Montpelier’s 8 and the Locos went on to win 41-35.
Sydney Stoll led Edon with an electrifying 20 point effort. Also scoring for Edon were Headley with 11 and Chrisman with 4.
Montpelier was led in scoring by Lauren Dye who racked up 21 points in the contest. Also scoring for the Locos were Blake with 10 points, Hageman with 6, and Geren with 4.
