EDON – Although being outhit 12-6 by the visiting Lady Eagles of North Central, the Lady Blue Bombers took advantage of seven miscues by the visitors en route a 10-5 victory on April 22nd. The contest was scoreless until the fourth inning. The Lady Eagles put three on the board in their half of the frame. The hosts answered with four runs in the fourth, then added six more in the fifth to put the game out of reach. The victory keeps the Lady Bombers in the driver’s seat for the BBC crown as they improve to 3-0 in the conference.
Kaitlin Chrisman went the distance to gain the will. The sophomore hurler gave up 12 hits, fanned five and issued one base on balls.

Reese Cogswell pitched the first 4 1/3 innings for North Central and was tagged with the loss. She allowed nine runs, with just two being earned, four hits, set two down and strikes and walked a pair. Bralyn Wyrick tossed the final 1 2/3 innings and gave up one run on two hits, while registering two K’s.
Jordan Matthews swung the big stick for Edon as she slugged home four runs with a double and single.
Wyrick stroked a double and single for North Central, while Madison Messner and Sabrina Pickford each smacked two baggers. Contributing two base hits a piece were Cogswell, Hollie Hernandez and Macayla Wildrick. Abbey Litzenberg and Brittany Laney collected a single each for the Lady Eagles.
