Edon police chief back on the job.
The mayor of Edon has reinstated Tom Szymczak as police chief.
The chief resumed his duties earlier this month.
The chief had been suspended following a shooting incident last spring and investigation of the department. He was cleared by the Ohio Bureau of Investigation and by a Williams County grand jury.
Mayor Duane Thiel did not respond to requests for comment. Syzmczak would not comment until he had talked to the mayor and caught up on paperwork accumulated during his absence.
