The meeting only lasted six minutes, as the Edon School Board members gathered on August 23, 2021, to take care of some extra business which had come up since the last regular meeting. They voted to approve the following:

-Amend hours for bus route contracts for the 21-22 school year

-A Contract for Darlene Thiel as Library Media Aide for five hours per week

-Resignation of Lynette Skiles, Classroom Teacher Aide (Special Ed.) effective August 11, 2021.

Superintendent Anthony Stevens stated that he and Ms. Skiles had a few good conversations and she said that it is just “not a good fit for her this year”. She is leaving on good terms and the school is sad to see her go.

The board then went into an Executive Session for the express purpose of discussing Personnel. There was no action taken and the meeting was adjourned.
