TOP RATING … The members of The Edon Singers pose after their performance of “Amani Utupe” at Solo and Ensemble contest Saturday. The ensemble earned the top rating of a I (Superior) Rating for their performance.
The Edon Music Department is proud to announce our results at the Ohio Music Education Association’s Junior High Solo and Ensemble Contest. These students performed on April 11th at Defiance High School. Each performance is evaluated by an adjudicator and given comments and a rating from 1-5.
Earning an Excellent Rating (II): Xander Myers – trumpet; Cocoa Banana Twins Trumpet Duet – Zahlia Harness & Berkley Hibbard; Edon Brass Duet – Korbin Rummel and Xander Myers.
Earning a Superior Rating (I): Jade Haefele – flute; Quintin Young – bass clarinet; Korbin Rummel – trombone; Liam Hickman – mallets; Megan Person – piano; Xander Myers – baritone; Liam Hickman – baritone; Brynn Robinett – soprano; Harley Owens – soprano
