West Unity was the talk of Williams County on Saturday, as families made their way downtown to experience all that the Fall Festival had to offer.
Held right after the Brady Township Fire Department breakfast, there was a lot going on.

The American Legion held a craft show, the library had fun kids’ activities, there were over 30 craft vendors and food trucks, and a chili cook-off with over 12 contestants was going on all around town starting at 11 a.m.
The library saw inflatables, crafts, and games for the kids, and laughter could be heard throughout town as kids waited their turn to give the bounce house a try.
Sarah’s Friends and many vendors selling home-baked goods and decor were inside the legion hall, and Bucking Good Coffee and Rolling Sweets food trucks were right down the block.

The Queens of West Unity even made an appearance downtown, fundraising for the first Miss West Unity Pageant held since 2021, with extra funds going towards a scholarship for the next Miss West Unity.
Co-directors Leslie Campbell and Meagan Bible shared that they “are excited to bring this back to the community,” and will be actively fundraising until the pageant in June.
Donation drives and raffles will be going on for the Queens of West Unity, and sponsors will see a place on both their t-shirts and program.

The morning started off at a brisk, sunny 44 degrees, with cloud coverage and rain moving in as the day went on.
Cold, red noses were seen all around, but so were smiles as everyone had a blast at West Unity’s 2023 Fall Festival.
