Families, friends, and neighbors gathered over the weekend for this year’s Pettisville Friendship Days, bringing three days of food, games, and small-town fun to the Pettisville Park.
The event, held every other year since 1976, kicked off Friday evening with food trucks, kids’ inflatables, a chicken dinner, a reverse raffle, and a movie under the stars.
Saturday brought a packed schedule that started with a 5K run and fishing derby and continued with face painting, crafts, live music, and more.
The weekend wrapped up Sunday morning with a worship service led by the Pettisville Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Saturday night also featured a pulled pork dinner and live music from Adam Vasquez & The Antones. Classic activities like the pedal pull, inflatables, and community games remained crowd favorites, giving families a chance to enjoy the simple things together.
Every part of Friendship Days is organized by volunteers and made possible through support from local sponsors. Proceeds go directly to support the Pettisville Park, which is privately funded and receives no tax dollars.
Dozens of area sponsors also chipped in to support the event, including Pettisville Grain Company, North Star BlueScope, Everence, the Fulton County Visitors Bureau, and many more.
