FAYETTE – The high-speed shredding machine called the Fayette Eagles welcomed in competition from north of the border on January 22. If Waldron was unsure of what awaited them when they arrived in Eagle Country, their answer came soon enough. Koby Biddix landed a trey and Chandler Sanford buried the first of his trio of trifectas in a 17-4 first quarter run that saw the Eagles chasing their visitors back to the Wolverine State, 50-34.
Sanford finished with a game-high 14 for the 10-3 / 5-0 Eagles, while Tyler Cox and Cole Burkholder each had 9 points, and Logan Franks 7. Zayne Colegrove finished up with 5 points, Biddix had 3, Collin McCabe 2 points, and Patty Hookstadt buried a free throw.
