The Fayette High School held their 2024 Homecoming on Saturday, January 20th. The theme for this year was Barbie which made for a doll-ightful night. The ceremony began at 5:00 p.m. with each of the Attendants and Escorts being introduced.
First up was Freshman Attendant Kaylee Harrington and Escort Zander Johnston. Kaylee is the daughter of Jeremiah and Amber Harrington. Kaylee participates in Archery, Basketball, FFA, and Student Council.
In her spare time, Kaylee likes to hang out with friends, shoot archery, and be with her 4-H animals. Her favorite music artists are Ryan Upchurch and Brantley Gilbert.
Kaylee likes to watch the Fast and Furious movies in her free time. Kaylee’s other favorites include the color turquoise and fried chicken.
Kaylee’s fondest memory at Fayette was Hunter Blackmer’s rap battle at Fayette’s Got Talent this year. If Kaylee were a dog, she thinks she would be an Australian shepherd. After high school, Kaylee plans on becoming a Harley Davidson service technician.
Zander is the son of Ben and Tiffany Johnston. Zander is involved in golf, basketball, archery, baseball, FFA, and student council. In his free time, Zander enjoys hunting, fishing, and farming. His hot take is that country is the best genre of music.
Zander’s favorite food is pasta, and his favorite color is olive green. His favorite movie is The Highway Men, and he enjoys listening to the Whiskey Meyers Band.
Zander’s favorite memory at Fayette has been playing sports with his friends. His future plans are to become a welder and then a farmer.
Next for introduction was Sophomore Attendant Willow Mitchell and Escort Carter Lavinder. Willow is the daughter of Todd and Amy Mitchell. Willow is involved in volleyball, basketball, softball, track, student council, FFA, and Spanish Club.
In her spare time, Willow likes to hang out with her friends and play cards with her family. Her favorite music artist is Olivia Rodrigo, and her favorite color is pink. The TV shows Willow enjoys watching are The Last Dance and Outer Banks, and she also enjoys eating goulash. If she could turn the ocean into a liquid other than water, Willow would turn it into her favorite drink: a smoothie.
Willow’s favorite memory at Fayette was when she and Mesa screamed and ran around the locker room because they were so excited track practice was canceled. In the future, Willow plans to attend college.

Carter is the son of Chad and Dara Lavinder. He is involved in basketball, baseball, track, golf, cross country, and Spanish club. Carter’s favorite pastime is to hang out with his friends. His favorite movie is Grown Ups and his favorite music artist is Drake.
His favorite color is green, and his favorite food is pizza. His favorite memory at FHS is shaking the bus after the Bowshers baseball game in the McDonald’s parking lot. Carter’s hot take is that Michigan is overrated. Carter’s future goal is to go to college to become an engineer.
Junior Attendant Savannah Ridgeway and Escort Evan Beauregard were then introduced. Savannah is the daughter of Brandon Charles and Buddy Lemke. Savannah is involved in student council. Her favorite thing to do in her free time is to hang out with her friends.
She enjoys watching Modern Family and Nightmare Before Christmas. Her favorite music artist is Tyler the Creator.
Savannah’s favorite color is orange, and her favorite food is Chinese. Her favorite memory at Fayette was getting kicked out of Walmart. Savannah’s gas station purchase is a Dr. Pepper and a Slim Jim. After high school, Savannah plans to become a pharmacist and move to Savannah, Georgia.
Evan is the son of Ron and Angie Beauregard. He is involved in cross country, track, basketball, archery, quiz bowl, student council, and Spanish Club. In his free time, Evan enjoys being outdoors.

His favorite TV show is The Office, and his favorite music group is AJR. Evan’s favorite color is blue, and his favorite food is spaghetti. Evan claims that if he were a dog, he would be a golden retriever.
His favorite memory at Fayette was walking the halls with Wyatt and Jose after advancing to regionals in track. Evan’s future plans are to attend the University of Toledo and pursue a career in mechanical engineering.
Next up was Senior Attendant Kenadie Ramay and Escort Shane Maginn. Kenadie is the daughter of Ken and Stacie Ramay. Kenadie participates in volleyball, basketball, softball, and FFA. In her free time, Kenadie enjoys laying in her comfy bed and watching TikTok.
Kenadie’s favorite TV show is One Tree Hill and her favorite food is sushi. Her favorite color is blue and she enjoys listening to Zach Bryan. Kenadie’s hot take is that pizza is gross.
Kenadie’s favorite memory at Fayette was when her class won Relay for Life. Kenadie’s future plans are to attend the University of Toledo and major in media communications.
Shane is the son of Matt and Jenny Maginn. He is involved in baseball, cross country, and quiz team. Shane’s favorite food is tacos, and his favorite color is candy apple green.

Shane enjoys watching The Office and listening to Zach Bryan. In his free time, Shane enjoys playing video games with Hawk.
His favorite memory at Fayette was playing baseball at Fifth Third Field. Shane’s gas station purchase is a breakfast pizza and a pacific punch monster. After graduating, Shane plans to attend Hobart Institute of Welding Technology.
The 2024 Homecoming Queen and King were then announced. This year’s Fayette Homecoming Queen was Hannah Towns Hall and King Wyatt Mitchell. Hannah is the daughter of Kathryn and Wesley Schaffner and Trevor and Kylie Towns.
Hannah is involved in volleyball and track and is the president of the National Honor Society, Student Council, and FFA. In her free time, Hannah enjoys spending time with her friends and family, shopping, reading, and napping. Her favorite color is pink, and her favorite TV show is Suits.
Hannah’s favorite food is sushi and her favorite music artists are Tyler Childers and Drake. If she had to turn the ocean into a liquid other than water, she would turn it into iced coffee.
Her favorite memory at Fayette is having senior bonfires in the fall. After graduating, Hannah plans to attend the University of Toledo majoring in biochemistry on a pre-med track.

Wyatt is the son of Todd and Amy Mitchell. Wyatt is involved in cross country, golf, basketball, baseball, track, the National Honor Society, student council, and is the senior class president. In his spare time, Wyatt enjoys sleeping.
Wyatt’s favorite movie is Wedding Crashers, and his favorite music artist is Eminem. Anyone who knows Wyatt also knows that his favorite food is apples. Wyatt’s favorite color is orange.
If he were a dog, Wyatt thinks he would be a mix between a bulldog and a shih tzu. His favorite memory at Fayette was throwing tater tots from the floor into Opie’s mouth. After high school, Wyatt plans to join the Navy.
Lastly, this year’s Prince and Princess were introduced. This year’s Princess was Maci Hibbard and Prince was Bentley Mandigo. Maci is the daughter of Evan and Amy Hibbard. During her free time, Maci likes to play with baby dolls and Barbies with her sister, Ava.
Her favorite movie is The Barbie Movie, and her favorite song is Speed Drive. Her favorite food is cookies (Oreos) and her favorite candy is chocolate.
Maci’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Rupp. If she could be an animal, Maci would be an orange kitty. When Maci grows up she wants to be a vet.
Bentley is the son of Ashley Clark and Mark Mandigo. In his free time, Bentley likes to build snowmen and build Legos. His favorite show is Hudson’s Playground. Bentley’s favorite food is cookies, and his favorite candy is Skittles.
His favorite song is “Till You Can’t” by Cody Johnson and his favorite teacher is Mrs. Rupp. If Bentley could be an animal, he would be a crocodile. When he grows up, Bentley wants to be a police officer.
The Queen and King were then crowned by last year’s Queen Hannah Kovar and King Chase Moats. The ceremony was then concluded, and everyone gathered around the stage for pictures.
