FAYETTE: JANUARY 23, 2014 – The Fayette Lady Eagles hosted in conference foe Edon on January 23, walking away with a overwhelming 52-28 victory over the Lady Bombers.
For Fayette in the victory, Alexis Fruchey led the way, scoring 15 on the night, while teammate Taylor Griffiths added 9. Also on the board for the Lady Eagles, Kaela Seiler had 10; Paige Keefer accounted for 8 points, Katelyn Bates had 6 and Jessie Wheeler hit for 2.
For the Lady Bombers, Kaitlyn Sonneberger scored 6 while both Alex Kiess and Baylee Gearhart each accounted for 5. Kaitlin Chrisman had 4 and Kaitlyn Manahan , Jordan Matthews, Hannah Kaylor and Eliza Zulch each scored 2 in the loss.
With the win, Fayette moved to 12-2 on the season and 6-1 in the BBC while Edon fell to 2-14 on the year and 0-7 in the BBC.
