President Kirk Keiser called the meeting to order with the following members present: Mat Johnson, Ryan Eberly and Jason Kessler, absent was Jennifer Wagner.
Next up the Board approved the minutes from the last meeting. Next, the Board went into executive session to discuss personnel.
Then, the Board entered back into regular session and heard public concerns. Heidi Stambaugh presented concerns on hiring of a new Athletic Director.
Next, the Board heard from Angela Belcher, Superintendent. Belcher met with Police Chief Jason Simon to discuss adding more security cameras to the school property.
Next, Kelly Bentley, Treasurer, said the temporary budget for 2023 will be set at 75% of 2022 actual expenditures to carry through September 2022 until a permanent budget is approved for 2023.
Next up, Olivia Selgo, Elementary Principal, reported that Mr. Raby has planted trees in the playground area for shade for the students. This planting of the trees was done by the girls that raised funds through “Girls on the Run”.
Next up, the Board heard from Technology Coordinator Jerry Schaffner. He informed the board they are looking to replace some of the outdated chromebooks for students.
Next, The Board approved the financial report for May 2022. The Temporary Appropriations for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023 at 75% of 2022 actual expenditures.
Next, The Board approved the following: low bid from Reiter Dairy for 2022-2023 through Southwestern Ohio Education Purchasing Council (EPC), An agreement with Northwest Ohio Juvenile Detention, Training and Rehabilitation Center 2022-2023 for $77.00 per student, per weekday, A one-year agreement with NBEC for NOVA online virtual courses and support for 2023.
