BOYS BASKETBALL

VARSITY

Stryker 44 Montpelier 32

Kaleb Holsopple scored 11 of his 14 points in the second half to help Stryker to a 44-32 win. The Panthers (6-10, 5-4 in BBC) put the game away with a 20-12 advantage in the fourth quarter. Spencer Clingaman added 11 for Stryker. Thomas Jay dropped in nine points to Montpelier (8-6, 5-3).

Archbold 27 Tinora 17


Leading 18-13 going to the fourth quarter, the Bluestreaks (15-4) closed the game with a 9-4 quarter to grind out a 27-17 win over Tinora. Ashton Kammeyer had four buckets and a free throw for nine points to lead Archbold.

Edgerton 61 North Central 49

Edgerton (9-7) pulled away with a 17-5 second quarter to earn a 61-49 non-league win over the Eagles. Three Bulldogs reached double figures led by Noah Landel with 12, Cole Meyer had 11, and Troy Wolfe added 10.


Hicksville 55 Pettisville 43

The Aces (7-10) knocked down three triples in the first quarter and had seven for the game in a 55-41 win over Pettisville (13-4). Max Leppelmeier and Joey Ripke had 11 points each to lead the Blackbirds.

Napoleon 41 Archbold 27

Archbold had a 20-19 lead at halftime before the Lady Cats dominated the second half 23-7 to get the 41-27 win. Kylie Sauder led Archbold (9-8) with 10 points and Taylor Strock had a game-high 25 for Napoleon (17-1).

Hilltop 48 Edgerton 20

The Lady Cadets were 10/12 from the foul line in the game and outscored Edgerton 31-10 (1-17) in the second half of a 48-20 victory. Kodi Brenner had 11 for Hilltop (11-6) and Lana Baker added 10. Brianna Wickerham scored five for Edgerton.

Hicksville 49 Edon 34

The Lady Aces doubled up Edon 26-13 in the first half on their way to a 49-34 win. Carlie Kiess topped the offense for Edon (6-10) with 13 points.

Swanton 55 Otsego 24

Swanton (14-6) took over early by taking a 17-3 lead after one quarter to cruise to the win on Senior Night. Averie Lutz led the Lady Bulldogs with 26 points and 11 steals.
