Four County Board Of Education Meets To Discuss 2016-17 School Year

The July Meeting of The Four County Career Center Board of Education was held on Thursday, July 21, 2016 and included the Records Commission Meeting at 6:30 and the Regular BOE Meeting at 7:00 p.m.

As part of the Treasurer’s Report, the Board accepted and/or approved the
following items:

•June Meeting Minutes.

•Financial statements and investments for the month of June as presented.

•Appropriation Modifications for Secondary Perkins as presented.


•Establish Fund 035 for Termination Benefits per section ORC 5705.13, effective July 1, 2016.

•To approve amendments to temporary appropriations, as presented.

As part of the Superintendent’s Report, the board accepted and/or approved the following items:


•The resignation of Brandon Readshaw, Career-Tech Supervisor, for the
purpose of accepting another position.

•A one-year contract to Brooke Majewsk as a VOSE.

•A one-year contract to Anne Taylor as Guidance Secretary.


•August 11, 2016, as “New Teacher Day”.

•Vendors to supply products and services for the 2016-17 school year as
presented.

•The update of board policies as presented.

•Adopt the Four County Student Handbook as presented.

•Job Sites for the Hospitality and Industrial Service Programs.

•A resolution to adopt the Calamity Day Alternative Make-Up Plan (Blizzard
Bags) for the 2016-17 school year.


•A $750 donation from the Kiwanis Club of Bryan to be used for student fees
for students at Four County Career Center from Williams County Schools and
Fairview High School.

•Under Board Committee Reports, the Board received updates from: Records Commission Meeting.

Upcoming meetings involving members of the Four County Career Center Board of Education include the regular August Board Meeting at 7:00 p.m., on August 18, 2016 in the Multi-Purpose Room at Four County Career Center.
