Four County Career Center Board Of Education Addresses Light Agenda

The February Meeting of The Four County Career Center Board of Education was held on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room at Four County Career Center.

As part of the Treasurer’s Report, the Board approved:
•January Meeting Minutes.
•Financial statements and investments for the month of January as presented.
•Appropriation Modifications as presented.
•To set up a fund for the High Schools That Work Mini Grant, and increase appropriations and the amended certificate of resources in the amount of $2,000.00 for Fiscal Year 2016.
•The Investment Management Agreement with Red Tree Investment Group and the Custodial Agreement with US Bank.

As part of the Superintendent’s Report, the board accepted and/or approved the following items:
•Certified Substitutes as presented.
•Nurse Aide Clinical Instructors as presented.
•A one-year contract to Felicia Lewis as Guidance Secretary.
•To employ Brandon Goehler, Lance Fisher, Peggy Pinette and Marcus Schuette as needed in Adult Education.
•Board Committees as presented at the January meeting.
•The advertising for a 2015 model or newer van.
•Donations from Florence and Richard Luzny of t-shirts to the FFA Program, as well as the donation of two 2006 ambulances from ProMedica to the Adult Education Program.

Under Board Committee Reports, the Board received updates from:
*Directors
*Legislative Liaison
*Finance Committee

Upcoming meetings involving members of the Four County Career Center Board of Education include the Building and Grounds Committee at 6:15 p.m. and the regular March Board Meeting at 7:00 p.m., both on March 17, 2016 in the Multi-Purpose Room at Four County Career Center.
