Four County Career Center Board Of Education Meets For May

The May Meeting of The Four County Career Center Board of Education was held on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room at Four County Career Center.

The meeting began with a tour of the Senior Carpentry Program ‘s house project for the 2015-16 year.

As part of the Treasurer’s Report, the Board accepted and/or approved the following items:

•April Meeting Minutes.
•Financial statements and investments for the month of April as presented.
•Appropriation Modifications as presented.
•The updated five-year financial forecast and assumptions for Fiscal Years
ending June 30, 2016 through 2020 as presented.
As part of the Superintendent’s Report, the board accepted and/or approved the
following items:
•Marsha Heilman as Cafeteria Supervisor effective July 25, 2016.
•Amanda Mohler as a CBI Instructor effective August 15, 2016.
•Betsy Bachman as a Summer Custodial Worker effective May 2016 through
August 2016.
•Certificate of Completion for the 2016 Seniors as presented.
•Purchase of Textbooks as presented.
•The 2016-17 Pre-School Handbook.
•The donation of an Ultrasound Machine from Dr. Pete Bowen, Buckeye
Veterinary Hospital, to the Veterinary Assisting Program.
•A Resolution of Necessity for a 1.0 mill Current Expense Tax Levy.
•Under Board Committee Reports, the Board received updates from: Directorsand Legislative Liaison.

Upcoming meetings involving members of the Four County Career Center Board of Education include the regular June Board Meeting at 7:00 p.m., on June 16, 2016 in the Multi-Purpose Room at Four County Career Center.
