Four County Career Center’s Recently Hosted 9th Annual Numeracy Challenge

NUMERACY CHALLENGE … Four County Career Center’s 9th Annual Numeracy Challenge was held recently at Northwest State Community College. Junior and senior teams who placed first and second will be attending the High Schools That Work Regional Competition at Owens Community College on the Findlay Campus on April 20th. Thirty-nine teams of four students from the career and technical education programs at the Career Center competed in mathematical calculations in a timed setting. 2017 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners from Fulton county include (LEFT TO RIGHT) Jennifer Seiler (Fayette) Veterinarian Assistant – 3rd place seniors; Trevor Carter (Evergreen) Ag/Diesel Mechanics – 2nd place juniors; Morgan Wyse (Archbold) Pre-Engineering – 1st place seniors; Bryce Huber (Archbold) Pre-Engineering – 1st place seniors; Andrew Louy (Evergreen) Computer Design/3D Modeling – 1st place juniors; and Caleb Sager (Fayette) Ag/Diesel Mechanics – 2nd place juniors.

WILLIAMS COUNTY WINNER … 2017 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners from Williams county include (LEFT TO RIGHT) Bristle Dix (Stryker) Pre-Engineering – 1st place seniors; Emma Brown (North Central) Law Enforcement & Security Tactics – 2nd place seniors; Mason Locke (Hilltop) Law Enforcement & Security Tactics – 2nd place seniors; Chance Grapengeter (Hilltop) Pre-Engineering – 1st place seniors; Reid Stahler (Edgerton) Pre-Engineering – 3rd place juniors; Sidney Schultz (Bryan) Pre-Engineering – 3rd place juniors; Tim Herman (Edgerton) Ag/Diesel Mechanics – 2nd place juniors; and Justin Doty (Bryan) Computer Design/3D Modeling – 1st place juniors.
