The Holiday City Village Council met for its regular meeting on March 19, 2026, to discuss routine business and to announce a nomination for WEDCO’s Community of the Year award.

In attendance: Mayor Pam Clark, Cooper Clark, Shawn Clark, Jodie Faunce, Ryan Hendricks, Adam Knepper, and Brooke Knepper.

An ordinance was suspended and passed to participate in the Treasurer of Ohio’s Market Access Program (OMAP).

In order to meet submission dates, the ordinance was deemed an emergency. It is for the annual substation note renewal. A resolution authorized “then and now” purchase orders for the substation’s battery maintenance and inspection.

“I haven’t got a result on them yet, but they did come in and test them on Monday,” commented Administrator Blair Campbell.

Fiscal Officer Lauri TenEyck-Rupp reported that the village’s audit is complete and should be posted online soon.

She also presented several insurance coverage options, including earthquake damage coverage. The council opted not to renew with any new coverage plans.

Three invoices were requested to be included with the payment of bills. They included services from Buckeye Exterminating, P&R Communications, and damage replacement parts for the water tower.

Mayor Clark announced Holiday City’s nomination for Community of the Year, presented by Williams County Economic Development Corporation (WEDCO).

“The Village of Holiday City has been nominated for the Community of the Year. It recognizes a city or a village in Williams County that has shown exceptional community engagement, leadership, and positive contributions to local economic and community developments,” said Clark.

Additionally, Mayor Pam Clark was nominated for WEDCO Member of the Year. WEDCO will present the winner at its next annual meeting, March 27, 2026.

Administrator Blair Campbell reported that there has been a slight change to the village’s contribution to the ongoing Selwyn Drive project, proposed by Jefferson Township.

The cost has increased to $28,772. “That’s not written in stone yet, but that’s what they are projecting,” explained Campbell.

The Department of Commerce submitted a liquor permit renewal for the village to review. After discussion, there were no objections to any renewals within the village.

An executive session was entered at 7:54 p.m. for confidential matters. There was no action taken afterwards.

The next Holiday City Village Council meeting is scheduled for April 17, 2026, at 7 p.m.
