Four County Seniors Honored During Annual Recognition Day Ceremony

Four hundred seniors were awarded certificates along with other student achievements and Career Passports marking the end of their career and technical training during Four County Career Center’s 52nd annual Recognition Day Ceremony which was held Virtually.

Career and Technical Education Director, Rick Bachman was presiding chairman of the Ceremony. Sarah French (Napoleon) Health Careers senior, welcomed everyone and spoke about her experiences while at the Career Center.

Superintendent, Tim Meister thanked Board of Education members for their support and congratulated the seniors on their accomplishments. Senior speakers for the Recognition Day Ceremony were Bailey Dohm (Hicksville) Hospitality Services, and Zacary Sparks (Edon) IT Academy – Computer Networking and Cybersecurity.

Fifty-one students were named Outstanding Seniors for exemplary performance in their career and technical and academic programs and presented with award plaques by their department supervisors.

Awards and scholarship monies of over $410,000 to be used to further students’ education at community colleges and universities were also awarded.


Students receiving awards from Fulton County (above) included (FRONT – LEFT TO RIGHT) Shawn McCullough (Delta) Mechanical Systems and Piping, and Job Placement; Emily Hines (Archbold) Exercise Science and Sports Medicine; Laila Perez (Archbold) Intro to Physics; Madison Ann Lipinski (Delta) Chemistry; Dillon Hayward (Wauseon) Work Transition; (BACK – LEFT TO RIGHT) Brenden Strauss (Delta) Powersports; Harley Schwarz (Evergreen) Computer Design/3D Modeling; Luke Strayer (Evergreen) Agricultural Diesel Mechanics; Christian Campos (Wauseon) Advanced Math; and Ethan Pollock (Archbold) Government.

Students receiving awards from Williams County (below) included (FRONT – LEFT TO RIGHT) Daisy Jack (Bryan) Early Childhood Education; Brooklynne Ramos (Bryan) Cosmetology; Garrett Alpaugh (Montpelier) Culinary Arts Management; Austin Tomaszewski (Bryan) Specialized Mechatronics and Robotics Technology, English, and Government; Jacob Washington (Bryan) Computer Programming and Game Design; (BACK – LEFT TO RIGHT) Dawson Kiess (Edon) Building Trades/Carpentry; Elijah Seiler (Bryan) Applied Math; Isaac Funes (Bryan) English; Ryan Conklin (Montpelier) Financial Math; and Zacary Sparks (Edon) Spanish. Absent from the photo is Jacob VanDeVoorde (Montpelier) Automotive Technologies.
