Four County Career Center students united in a school-wide effort and raised over $1,700 and collected many toys for the annual Christmas for Kids campaign sponsored by Clear Channel’s Mix 98.1-WDFM and the U.S. Marine Corps. Students raised money through OSU/Michigan competition, gingerbread houses, jeans day, and individual class projects. All career and technical clubs at the Career Center participated and through their involvement will bring a happier Christmas to children in Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Paulding, and Williams counties. Shown are individuals who assisted during the live remote broadcast at the Career Center (FRONT – LEFT TO RIGHT) Ashley Buttermore, Commercial Art (Fairview); Lauren Krohn, Veterinarian Assistant (Evergreen); Anna Millar, Veterinarian Assistant (Evergreen); Zach Cameron, Law Enforcement & Security Tactics (Stryker); Andrea Lewis, Accounting & Business Management (Fairview); (BACK – LEFT TO RIGHT) Brent Roughton, Account Executive; Floyd Puffenberger, Retired U.S. Marine; Bill Zimmerman, Retired U.S. Marine; Tina Short, Student Council Advisor; Ray Dailey, Retired U.S. Marine; Rick Small, Clear Channel’s Director of Operations; Patty Hindall, Clear Channel Sales Staff; and Ken Steffel, Retired U.S. Marine.
