The Pettisville High School Theatre Department recently impressed audiences with its production of Disney’s Freaky Friday, a musical that highlighted the talent and hard work of its students.
Presented over three performances from April 10 through April 12, the show told the story of an overworked mother and her teenage daughter who magically swap bodies and are forced to see life from each other’s perspective.
While the story brought humor and heart to the stage, the students were what made the production stand out.
Cast members delivered strong singing performances and brought plenty of energy and emotion to their roles, keeping the audience engaged from beginning to end. The students on stage clearly put in the work, and that effort showed throughout the performance.
Just as impressive was the work done behind the scenes. The set, decorations, props, and overall setup helped bring the musical to life and added to the experience for those in attendance.
From the visual details to the smooth flow of the production, the show reflected a great deal of preparation and teamwork.
Overall, the production served as an excellent showcase of the talent and dedication of Pettisville students. From the strong performances on stage to the impressive set design and polished presentation, the cast and crew came together to deliver an entertaining and memorable show for everyone in attendance.
