ARCHBOLD — Students at Four County Career Center enjoyed a day filled with laughter, energy and plenty of pancakes on Wednesday, March 11, thanks to the generosity of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 4428 in Napoleon, that sponsored the Katie Cakes pancake event for the entire school.

Nearly 1,000 students gathered to take part in the all-you-can-eat breakfast, which featured pancakes, sausage and orange juice.

The event had a fun and memorable twist that quickly became the highlight of the morning — students had to catch the pancakes on their plates as they were tossed to them, creating a lively atmosphere filled with cheers, laughter and friendly competition.

The pancake event was more than just a meal — it was an opportunity for students to come together, to enjoy a unique experience, and to start their day with a sense of excitement and community.

Members of the FCCC Endowment Board generously volunteered their time, helping serve students and keep the event running smoothly. Their involvement further highlights the strong support system and community pride surrounding FCCC.

At Four County Career Center, nearly 50 percent of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, making events like this especially meaningful.

The appreciation shown throughout the day was evident as students lined up for pancakes and eagerly tried their hand at catching pancakes on their plates.

Four County Career Center extends its sincere gratitude to the Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 4428 in Napoleon and the dedicated volunteers who helped bring this event to life.

Their generosity and commitment created a memorable experience for students throughout the campus and served as a powerful reminder of how community partnerships continue to make a lasting impact on FCCC students.
