DONATION … The Montpelier Area Foundation awarded an $8,000 grant to the Friends of Montpelier Parks, Inc. to help construct a press box for the 10U/12U/14U girls’ softball field. Similar to the boys’ baseball program press box design, the bottom part of the building will have a garage door for easy access and equipment storage. The top half of the new structure will be designated as the press box area with sound and scoreboard equipment.
