The Fulton County Commissioners met for their regular session on Thursday, October 16, 2025. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance, an opening prayer, and a roll call with all commissioners present. Minutes from the October 14 meeting were approved, and the day’s agenda was accepted as presented.
During old business, the board reviewed the Dog Warden reports for the periods ending September 27 and October 4. In new business, commissioners approved an appropriations request that included several transfers between departments.
These involved a $5,978.80 increase to the Mitigation Grant line for the Emergency Management Agency, along with multiple fund transfers supporting Probate Court equipment, Board of Developmental Disabilities services, Workforce Investment Act programs, Job and Family Services cost allocations, Child Support Enforcement, and Children Services funding.
These appropriations and transfers aimed to ensure continued operation and compliance across the county’s departments and services.
The board also approved scheduling a pre-bid meeting for the Pleasant View Wastewater Treatment Plant Project, scheduled for November 4 at 10:45 a.m. in the Fulton County Administration Building.
Additionally, commissioners authorized the advertisement for bids on the same project, with sealed bids to be received and opened on December 9th at 9:30 a.m. The project involves constructing a new wastewater treatment facility with modern infrastructure and demolishing the existing plant.
The board approved routine purchase orders and travel requests before adjourning the session at 9:05 a.m.
