FULTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS: Commissioners Approve Jury Duty Fee Increase

The Fulton County Commissioners held their first meeting of the week on Tuesday, July 26th. The meeting began at 9:00 a.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer.

Commissioners first moved to approve the minutes from the previous meeting on July 21st as well as the current agenda as amended.


Approval of the bills took place next before moving to review the sales tax report and weekly dog warden reports for the periods ending July 9th and July 16th. The following agenda items were then approved.

-Resolution 2022-502 for the increase and transfer of appropriations for various departments.

-Resolution 2022-503 to proclaim Child Support Awareness Month.


-Resolution 2022-505 to approve a jury duty fee increase from $15.00 a day to $35.00 a day.

-Resolution 2022-506 to enter a Roadway Use, Repair and Maintenance Agreement with Gorham Township and Arche Energy Project, LLC.

-Resolution 2022-507 to approve a personnel request on behalf of the senior center for a new hire.

-Resolution 2022-508 to approve a personnel request on behalf of the senior center for a newhire.


-Resolution 2022-509 to cancel the session for Thursday, August 18, 2022.

-Resolution 2022-510 to hold a Special Session on Friday, August 19, 2022.

-Resolution 2022-511 to adopt a Fulton County comprehensive plan.

-Resolution 2022-512 to approve purchase orders and travel requests.

With no further business to attend to, the meeting was adjourned at 9:08 a.m.

The Commissioners held their second meeting of the week on Thursday, July 28th. The meeting began at 9:00 a.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer. Commissioners first moved to approve the minutes from the previous meeting that took place on July 26th.

The current agenda was approved next before a review took place for the Ohio Unemployment Rate Report for June 2022. The following agenda items were then approved.

-Resolution 2022-515 for the increase and transfer of appropriations for various departments.

-Resolution 2022-516 for the transfer of funds for the second quarter 2022 reimbursements for fuel, supplies, copier materials and utilities.

-Resolution 2022-517 to approve purchase orders and travel requests.

The meeting then entered a recess. After returning from recess, Commissioners were notified that one bid was received for the water booster pump station upgrade.

This bid was sent to the County Engineers office for review. With no further items to attend to, the meeting was adjourned.
