FULTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS: Commissioners Receive Petition For New Ditch Project

THE VILLAGE REPORTER

The Fulton County Commissioners held their meeting on Tuesday, September 12th. The meeting began at 9:00 a.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer.

Commissioners first moved to approve the minutes for the meeting held on September 5th, along with the current agenda and list of bills for payment.

Reviews then took place of a Treasurer to Auditor Balancing Report, Amended Certificate of Estimated Resources, Certificate of Non-Compliance, Investment Report, Master Agreement 2023-122 for the Electric Aggregate Program, and a New Ditch Improvement Petition marked as 2151 – Gorham Township. The following agenda items were then approved.


– Resolution 2023-687 Set Date and Time of View and 1st Hearing for Ditch 2151- Gorham Twp.

– Resolution 2023-688 Increase & Transfer Appropriations for Various Departments.

– Resolution 2023-689 Approve Draw #11 for CDBG Grant- Fayette Wellfield Fencing and Swancreek Township Demolition Project- B-F-21-1AX-1.


– Resolution 2023-690 Enter Into Participation Agreement 2023-123 with CEBCO for Employee Benefit Plan.

– Resolution 2023-691 Approve Payment Request #2 to Contract 2023-84 with Ward Construction for the 2023 Seal Coat Program.

– Resolution 2023-692 Approve PRC Plan for JFS.

– Resolution 2023-693 Enter Into Contract 2023-124 with Sarka Electric for Obstruction Lighting at the Airport.


– Resolution 2023-694 Approve Purchase Orders and Travel Requests.

With no additional items to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 9:10 a.m.

Commissioners then held their second meeting of the week on Thursday, September 14th. The meeting began at 9:00 a.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer.

Commissioners first moved to approve the minutes from a previous meeting held on September 12th, along with the current agenda.

A review then took place of the County Dog Warden Reports for Periods Ending August 19th and August 26th. The following agenda items were then approved.

– Resolution 2023-697 Increase & Transfer Appropriations for Various Departments.

– Resolution 2023-698 Approve Payment Request #4 to Gerken Paving for 2023 Asphalt Resurfacing Project.

– Resolution 2023-699 Enter Into Business Associate Agreement 2023-125 with CEBCO for Group Health Plan.

– Resolution 2023-700 Authorize Submission of Lead Safe Ohio Program Application to Ohio Department of Development.

– Resolution 2023-701 Accept Renewal Rates for 2024 Employee Benefits.

– Resolution 2023-702 Approve Purchase Orders and Travel Requests.

Commissioners then heard a project update from Wessler Engineers before adjourning for the morning.
