On August 30, 2024, a Fulton County Common Pleas Court jury found Dakota Ferguson, age 20, of Delta, OH, guilty of Domestic Violence, a misdemeanor of the first degree.
A Fulton County Grand Jury had previously indicted Mr. Ferguson for the March 4, 2024, offense when he did knowingly cause or attempt to cause physical harm to a family or household member.
The jury of four men and eight women deliberated approximately 45 minutes before returning their guilty verdict.
The case was prosecuted by Fulton County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Paul H. Kennedy and Mr. Ferguson was represented by attorney, Samuel Gold.
Mr. Ferguson’s bond was continued, and the Court ordered a pre-sentence investigation and report. The sentencing hearing is scheduled for September 27, 2024 at 11:30 a.m.
